Growing up in post-civil war Liberia, Fatu Kaba learned early that the stories women inherit shape the lives they're permitted to lead. After moving to the U.S. in 2018, she became the first girl in a family of 20 to earn a college degree — and the only one to earn a master's. Today, as a TEDx curator, Forbes-featured storyteller, and keynote speaker, she works at the intersection of storytelling, identity, and leadership to help women unmask the beliefs that keep them small — and step into the rooms, and the roles, they were built for.
